I began my career as a professional illustrator twenty years ago after receiving a BA in painting from Western Washington University, Bellingham. Block printing is my specialty as both artist and illustrator. With that medium my love for painting, line, texture, color and dynamic design are expressed as I treat the brayer and gouge like brushes. I also include watercolor and line in my repertoire of mediums that I have a tremendous joy in using.
I live on Whidbey Island, Washington, with my dog, Reese, my cat, Lucy and far too many chickens.
